Origins

A few years ago I created a mod for the game Scrap Mechanic called InfiniTrack, which added racing-themed parts and racetrack props to the game. I very much enjoyed creating racetracks using its map editor and testing vehicles I build on it. But the mod and base game were very limiting in what I could do and how (collision was one of those things). So during a Christmas stay at relatives, I decided to turn this idea into its own game, Rally Fever.

Choosing a Tech Stack

The decision quickly fell on Unreal Engine.
